Purpose Built REHEARSAL Rooms

• MAGNET Rehearsal studios were established as an antidote to the run down, dirty, smelly, and sometimes dangerous places that call themselves rehearsal rooms.
  
  
• The practice rooms have been purpose built and were designed by musicians for use by musicians.
  
  
• There are 4 good sized rehearsal rooms. Practice Rooms 1-3 20ft X 20ft and room 4 17ft X 14ft. Each one has been treated to absorb unwanted frequencies so that you can hear actually what you are playing.

FRIENDLY CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT

• MAGNET prides itself on maintaining a creative environment for the all types and standards of musician. All you need to do is bring your instrument and leave the rest to us. Although you can do the playing!!!
  
  
• Service is helpful and friendly. MAGNET is open almost 24/7 dependant upon demand.
  
  
• The rehearsal rooms have been tastefully decorated and carpeted. Coloured lighting is available so you can create your own mood. Cooling fans have been installed for comfort and the rooms are cleaned every single day. Even the toilets are spotless!!

WELL EQUIPPED music REHEARSAL STUDIOS and NOW RECORDING STUDIO

• Each room has a 6 input 300 watt Fender mixer amp suitable for vocals. (Due to be upgraded to 1.2 kw in late 2007) We only use shure SM58 Mics.

• Each room has been insulated and soundproofed to a level that means you are not disturbed other noise.

• Standard backline equipment can be hired separately and includes Marshall/Laney valve guitar heads and 4x12 cabs and Trace Elliott/Peavey Bass amps although Ampeg or Mesa Boogie maybe available at a higher premium. We also have our own custom built high gain MAGNETO guitar amp available for hire or to buy.

• We are now offering a recording service. We have a 16 track Boss BR116 recorder. We can record anything from a 2 track live recording of your rehearsal to full 16 track recording. Sem Caputo is an engineer trained at Confetti Studios with experience in both live and studio arenas. Give us a call and discuss your requirements.  This recoding device is also available for hire inside or outside the studio.

SAFETY & SECURITY PLUS SAFE MUSIC EQUIPMENT STORAGE

• We take your safety very seriously at Magnet. Each room has its own circuit protected ring main. All our equipment is PAT tested and maintained to a very high standard. We have public liability insurance.

• Fire alarms with strobe light and extinguishers have also been installed in each room.

• Locked storage units are available to hire. The premises are protected by video surveillance and regularly maintained alarm system linked to a remote security station.

• A chill out area is provided for your comfort and refreshments are available from the office or from our coffee/tea machine.

In short ...  MAGNET IS THE SAFEST, THE BEST AND MOST SECURE PLACE TO REHEARSE OR RECORD. LEAVING YOU TO CONCENTRATE ON THE MUSIC AND US TO WORRY ABOUT THE REST!!!
