HOUSE OF LORDS On 23-25 November Magnet played host to the House Of Lords - the hard rock supergroup from America whose credentials read like a who's who of Rock music including Quiet Riot, Alice Cooper, Montrose, Nancy Sinatra, Vanilla Fudge, Ted Nugent, Greg Allman, amongst others. Not only could guys play (understatement of the year!!) they entertained us with their music (of course) stories, music knowledge, and general down-to-earth good humour. It was a genuine pleasure to have them rehearse at Magnet and hopefully we will see them again. I know they really enjoyed their time in Nottingham, so ...if you're in Notts again guys look us up & we'll buy y'all a beer or 3.

We were graced with the "presence" of one Gene Simmons from Kiss and a film crew for the 2nd series of Rock School. The band were filmed rehearsing and in interview senarios. Heres a pic of da boss who was a member of the Kiss Army in 1980- 82 with Mr Simmons (as he is known in the show). You will catch the show soon on a TV near you!! And yes Gene only the one" loo"...why would you need more???
