One in the eye for all the naysayers that are always saying that A&R never come to Nottingham. From what we've seen, all & sundry have found their way south of Watford gap to check out Shortwave. The new stuff sounds fantastic too. Expect an update on this very soon!

Story One - a band highly tipped by the guys at Magnet have just finsished recording their debut album in France. From the noise coming from room 3 in the daytime it promises to be a corker!! See them live at the social once a moth while you still can.

Bazooka Joe Demo -Untiltled

Untitled demo with no track listing but 4 instantly catchy choonz in the American "punk" style. Two listens and your singing along it's that catchy. Lots of harmonies and a real good time vibe makes this demo instantly stand out. I know polydor have expressed an interest, they could shift a few units at this rate, we'll just have to what this

space.

Ninedenine - The Scars ep

Ninedenine - The Scars ep. If you like your guitars LOUD, with fat riffs and big hooky chorus' then this won't disappoint. All four songs tip the Richter scale, and standout track "the scars" you'll be singing the chorus after 2 listens. Angry, abrasive, yet also powerfully melodic.
